What Could Lower Back Pinching Pain Be?

What could lower back pinching pain be? The other day our attic stairs were pulled down so we could get suitcases out, and I had to squeeze past the attic ladder and the wall to get something from another room. When I squeezed by, I just all of the sudden felt this horrible twinge of pain on my right side lower back, like someone had taken pliers to a nerve right above my hip.

It felt like a kind of popping/ripping feeling, then like someone took pliers and squeezed a nerve. It hurt really bad, but then it went away within a minute. Then over the last few days, at random times, I get this odd twinge of pain then it goes away. Today it was really painful, I was sitting on my bed in the hotel, then I felt another popping/ripping feeling and got the pain all over again when I went to lean forward & reach for my laptop. But this time, it didn’t go away in a minute.

I actually heard the pop sound, felt something feel like it was ripping inside my back, then I got the completely debilitating nerve pain. Then I got up and walked into the other room and it kept hurting, like a more dull nerve pain. Now i’m laying down, my back feels really weird in that one spot, and every time I move it feels like i’m going to go into another “JESUS CHRIST MY BACK HURTS” spasm.

I’m 14, female, the pain is right above my hip bone in the back, and it’s not achey, like I said, it feels like something ripped, then someone has taken pliers to a nerve in my lower back and squeezed.

You either ripped or pulled a muscle you should ice it & lay straight on you back. It will hurt a little but its all worth it & minimize moving. If it keeps hurting go to the doctors & check it out

You pinched a nerve in your back that day and they can be painful. When nerves get pinched they tighten up muscles around them that keep them where they can be pinched easily again. The nerves will send pains around the body on the nerves to be pains somewhere along the nerve. To get rid of the pain you have to free up your back muscles to release the nerve and here’s how to free them up:

    (do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
